Tiffany's Travels
The Big Idea
In May 2009 Tiffany Coates one of Trelya's Project Workers will be setting off on an incredibly challenging 12000 mile solo motorcycle journey from Land´s End in England to Mongolia, crossing Europe, the ´Stans and Central Asia.
I am achieving my dream doing this trip and I feel so lucky – I would love to help disadvantaged children to achieve their dreams. I would be really grateful if you could help me do this. I want to help Trelya further develop its work with disadvantaged children in Britain.
Money donated will be used towards buying children books, teaching children to read, helping them to improve their writing, enabling children who have never been on holiday to go on one, providing some clean new clothes for a child, teaching teenagers to swim, outings for children who barely travel more than a mile from their home, football sessions for children, healthy nutritious food for children, sessions showing teenagers how to cook healthy nutritious food cheaply, teaching a child how to ride a bicycle, helping children have happy experiences and develop dreams of their own, providing children with a safe welcoming space.
I must emphasise that all the costs of the trip are being borne by myself- through saving hard over the last two years. All the money that is donated will be going directly to Trelya.
