Need
When the client is receiving palliative care treatment or they are too frail to attend the weekly support groups run by Complementary Cancer Care Trust , it is important that they are able to receive counselling or complementary therapies or befriending in their own home.
Solution
The programme intends to provide six therapies over a period of six months plus two visits from a Home Visiting Officer. This is intended to give the benefit of stress control, countering tension, insomnia, anxiety, pain and sickness. Our therapists are qualified and insured to nationally recognised standards. Complementary Cancer Care Trust has a policy of confidentiality and must always uphold the good standing of their profession and that of the Trust.
Aims
The aim of the project is to provide a home visiting and palliative care service.

Location
Home Visiting services cover South East London and North Kent.
Beneficiaries
In the borough of Bexley, we have 3 deprived areas. We have a devise ethnic community who will not attend our weekly support groups due to their religion and culture. The Trust holds statistics of life threatening illnesses in the South East and North Kent which we need to support with the palliative care and home visiting service.
Why Us?
We are the only complementary cancer trust in East East and North Kent to be able to offer these services.
