HARP Homeless Action Resource Project, Southend-on-Sea logo

New Accommodation & Training Centre

October 2011 - August 2012

The Big Idea

To create a new Centre of Excellence which will incorporate both it's Day and Night Services, a GP medical room and enable HARP to provide 19 beds for rough sleepers and expand its support and employment training. This Centre will fill the gap in its current service which is located on 2 sites.

Why Us?

HARP is the only comprehensive homeless service in Southend aimed at enabling people to move forward with their lives by providing emergency accommodation for rough sleepers and advice, support, accommodation and meaningful activity programmes. The Council’s Voluntary Grant has funded Day Centre staff for over 20 years.
