Our aim is to provide the best possible standard of physical, emotional, social and spiritual support for those living with a life-threatening condition.
Our facility also offers vital respite for carers and families.
Our patients benefit from mutual and supportive friendships, complementary therapies, spiritual support from our Chaplaincy team and a home cooked three course lunch. Alongside this we offer diversional therapies - this year patients have been able to have a go at decorating cup cakes, relaxation sessions, ceramics, painting and art. We also take our patients out on trips, recent outings have included visits to The Belvoir Brewery, boat trips along the River Trent and shopping trips.
It is our aim to make our patients feel like normal human beings again, to be treated as an individual in a warm and nurturing environment where they feel secure and at ease and have a little escape from the everyday challenges they face with their illness.
