Livewire is a project for young people aged 10 to 21 which offers music making facilities and one to one personal support.
It offers music (Contempary) tuition for free, guitar, bass, drums, vocals etc, it has a rehearsal studio, a recording studio and a 250 capacity live music venue.
Livewire works with some 100 to 200 young people each night and works with refered young people daytimes.

Livewire Youth Project aims to:
- To provide a range of support services to young people - this includes one to one and group support and covers all the issues young people face today
- To provide a SAFE place for young people to socialise and to learn and develop existing music making skills
- To provide professional quality music making facilities to young people aged 10 to 21
- To encourage and support young people in reaching their full potential
- To involve young people in all aspects of Livewire's life and decision makiing
